When iphone screen turned blurred, someone can recover it by fixing the exact problem with a full restore via iTunes, some other people were able to make the blurry screen disappear by restarting their devices. When the iron sheet at the motherboard is solidifying the screw, the middle screw hole is twisted through. Thus the PCB is damaged and the screen is blurred. Only one circuit is under the screw, which is the 1.8V power supply of screen. The power is not sent to screen normally. I presume that this iPhone has the same reason. Observing under microscope, I do not find such a problem but find that the pin of 1.8V power supply is eroded and turns black.

You can use the nicking tool to scratch the solder pad and socket pins slightly. Mount some tin and it shines.

Then you can assemble iPhone and test it. It will get into IOS normally and the screen displays normally.

Finally, As those water-damaged iPhones, after they are fixed, if the peripherals cannot be used, first we have to check whether each pin is eroded or not, especially the power supply pins.
